On Monday 19 May 2008, the Netherlands and the United States signed a joint declaration that enables Dutch and American travellers to cross borders quickly and efficiently. Deputy Director of the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) Gert Versluis signed this declaration on behalf of The Netherlands.
