The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) has nine desks in the Netherlands. At these desks you can:
- Submit your application for a residence permit or collect a residence sticker or return visa. If you are planning to do this, you should arrange an appointment by calling 0900 1234561 (on working days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., € 0.10 per minute)*
- Collect your residence document;
- Obtain information about residence in the Netherlands (work, study or family reunification purposes, for exampe).

The IND seeks to serve its clients as well as possible. As a client, you have the right to know what you may expect from the IND. Therefore, we have set specific service standards. These standards are promises to you as a client of IND.

- Within 2 weeks you can have an appointment with an IND desk.
- You will receive a written confirmation of the appointment for submitting your application within 5 working days.
- You will be given a route description so that you can find the IND desk.
- If you want general information, you can contact or visit an IND desk without an appointment.
- Our staff members will be pleased to provide any clarification about your residence permit.
